Get ready to explore!
With St. Patrick’s Day around the corner, I want to challenge you to a simple Ireland craft for kids that does not involve wearing green or getting pinched.
It is called the Shamrock Nature Craft and all you need is an outdoor space, a piece of chalk, and a child or group of children ready to take nature into their own hands (literally) to learn about Ireland’s national flower, the Shamrock, and so much more.
To get started, download our FREE 5-Page Shamrock Nature Craft project sheets here.
What Children Will Learn By Doing this Ireland Craft for Kids
Children will learn important facts about the Shamrock and its tie to St. Patrick’s Day, then head outdoors to seek out items in nature to fill a hand-drawn shamrock of their own.
They will also dive deep into their own creativity and enjoy planning the spacial aspects of their designs, taking their time and feeling proud about their work.
Not to mention, getting outside to explore is wonderous on its own!
I encourage you to try this very simple – yet highly creative – Ireland craft for kids.
